Zapp RideShare is a personal electric cycle rental service operated using a mobile app. Users can locate, rent and ride electric scooters to commute around their cities or university campuses. 10Clouds built Zapp’s mobile apps from scratch, providing smooth user experience and eye-catching design. We also took care of the entire management system which allows the owner to run his business smoothly.

Students need an easy way to commute around cities and college campuses. Public transportation doesn’t give them enough freedom, while cars often turn out to be expensive and demanding for their needs. Cabs don’t pay off on short courses, and existing cycle rental services are cumbersome.

With Zapp RideShare users can pick up and rent an eco-friendly electric cycle in a few seconds. It’s fun, easy and green way to get around town. The whole process is handled by a user-friendly mobile app, which allows users to localize the nearest available cycles, unlock them, and pay for the rental.
Key functionalities
Mobile Scooter Management
Easy and on the go approach relates also to Zapp’s infrastructure management. 10Clouds linked the vehicles hardware with the software - the result is an intuitive mobile control panel, that allows the administrator to keep track of every vehicle location and battery level.
Convenient Rides
While on the ride, the app displays a dashboard filled with essential information: user’s location, rental time, cycle number, and the location of nearest parking spots. Cycles are equipped with bluetooth speakers that allow voice navigation.
Flexible Billing System
Users can rent Zapp electric scooters charged per minute. Thanks to the flexible billing model, longer rides come with better rates. Users can set up an automatic top up on the go, without the risk of running out of funds. What’s more, several monthly subscription plans are available.
